Jason Abelowitz
Interim Senior Vice President of Finance
Prior to joining Harton, Jason served for 20 years as a successful leader across business areas including finance, accounting, operations, and risk management. He worked for Valo Health as the Head of Finance for their hedge fund vehicle. He launched the biotech-focused hedge fund that utilized a hybrid AI/fundamental approach to make predictions of drug trial success in small/mid-cap biotechnology companies. Prior to Valo Health, Jason spent nine years at Colrain Capital LLC, an investment management firm, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. He was responsible for finance, accounting, compliance, operations, IT, and human resources. Prior to Colrain, Jason was Head of Operations for a start-up long/short hedge fund. He began his career at GMO, a global investment manager. He received his MBA from Babson College with Honors, Beta Gamma Sigma academic honor society. Jason received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire in Political Science with dual minors in Business Administration and Economics. Jason is on the Board of Directors for Concord Children’s Center, a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization.
