Founder

Prior to founding Harton, Evan R. Daugharthy, Ph.D. was a scientific founder of ReadCoor. As an inventor of fluorescent in situ sequencing (FISSEQ) technology and Vice President of Science at ReadCoor, he led R&D efforts to advance true spatial sequencing technology. He is the recipient of several honors and awards, including Forbes' 30 under 30 2015 in Healthcare.

Prior to joining ReadCoor, Evan received a Ph.D. in Systems, Synthetic, and Quantitative Biology from Harvard Medical School, where he completed his doctoral research in the laboratory of world-renowned scientist George Church. Evan received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, where his undergraduate research thesis, advised by Dr. Junhyong Kim, was awarded the Neysa Cristol Adams Prize in Biology. He also conducted postbaccalaureate research with Dr. Sarah Tishkoff at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
